Shy Souls Find Strength Together: Kepler & Nettie’s Journey

Kepler and Nettie came to us from two seperate shelters as two very shy, overlooked adult cats. Both of them spent time in separate foster homes, each of them retreating to quiet corners, hesitant to trust.
Nettie was reserved, often hiding away, and Kepler was the same. Their personalities made it harder for them to stand out, and unfortunately, this meant that they were often passed over by potential adopters.
We decided to move them into the Adoption Center so adopters could get the chance to meet them, and something magical happened when they arrived. They started taking small steps out of their shells, learning to trust their surroundings, and surprisingly, each other. They would lay on the highest shelf in Room 1, curled up together, keeping a close watch over each other.
It didn’t take long before an incredible adopter saw the bond these two had formed. They didn’t just fall in love with Kepler or Nettie—they saw the beauty of keeping them together. And so, they decided to give them both the home they deserved.
Now, Kepler and Nettie will spend the rest of their lives side by side, growing braver with each other’s support.
