I will forever be thankful to Paws & Claws Chicago Rescue for uniting me with my cat, Lola. All of my foster cats are special. I take a lot of time getting to know each one. I enjoy seeing them come out of their shell, explore the world, and transform. Every cat has their own set of quirks, personality traits, and journey in a foster home before they are adoptable.
Lola surprised me when she arrived and was clearly home. She made it known right away. She didn’t hesitate in befriending all of our pets with her signature head boops, amused us with her kitty antics, and made sure that we knew under her regime things would be run differently. For whatever reason, we obliged. She was home.
Lola continues to impress us with her welcoming spirit with new fosters, the fact that she is everyone’s best friend, and her continued antics, quirks, and big personality. My life is much different today because of Lola. She’s changed my heart in a big way and I’m glad I listened when Lola let me know she was home.
